Rebecca Mikkelson has been writing fantasy stories since her early teens for fun and was thrilled to turn her dream into a reality when she was published for the first time in an anthology.  She currently lives with her husband and cats, where they avoid the outside as much as they can.

In her free time, Rebecca likes to cross stitch and embroider to relax—that is, when her cats aren't trying to steal her embroidery floss. She also enjoys reading a wide variety of books, ranging from non-fiction biographies of historical figures and families to high fantasy.

As well as being an author, Rebecca helped found Authors 4 Authors Publishing in 2018, where she also works as the Editor-in-Chief. 

Her Anatalian Series had its first book, The Anatalian Soldier, published in November 2021.
